How to play the game
In the menus, navigate with the arrows on the keyboard. To enter the current selected menu item, use Enter, and to leave, use Escape.
In the game, the controls are as follows:

Arrow keys up and down scrolls the current block triplet. |

Arrow keys left and right moves the current block triplet sideways. |
|
Spacebar drops the current block triplet. |
|
The 'p' key pauses the game. |
|
Escape quits back to the main menu. |
Options
You can change the difficulty and the detail level in this free demo version of Virticon Millennium. The difficulty level changes the number of diffrent blocks used in the game from 4 (easy) to 6 (hard). The detail level controls the quality of the background effects in the game, from low (no effects) to high (full quality).
To set the difficulty/detail level you want, enter the corresponding menu, make your selection and press enter.
Limitations
This free demo version of Virticon Millennium has several features and options disabled. In the full version of the game, you will get additional features. To find out what these are reference the Downloads section on the right.

You can now try the multiplayer feature of the full version directly in your browser!
Click PLAY NOW and the game will start in a new
browser window.
To play the game, first choose an alias at the login prompt. When the chat appears,
you can type in chat messages that all logged in players will see. To
start a game, you have to challenge an opponent with the challenge command.
Simply type "/challenge <alias>" in the chat window just like a normal chat message,
and replace "<alias>" with the name of the opponent you wish to challenge. He/she
will then get the option to accept or deny the challenge.
To change the settings, click the Settings button. You can change the keys used to control the game
(default is the arrow keys, space and enter), sounds on/off and the starting difficulty level
of the games initiated by your challenges.
If there are no players in the chat, hang around for a while and invite your friends to join you!
